Pistacia Atlantica Seeds
Pistacia atlantica, also known as Atlas mastic tree / wild pistachio. A drought‑tolerant deciduous tree of Anacardiaceae. Trunk exudes aromatic oleoresin (locally named Saqez). Its seeds are rich in fixed oil. Traditionally applied in perfumery, incense and folk herbal remedies. Seed‑expressed oil is used in cosmetics and folk nutrition, different from cultivated pistachio (Pistacia vera).
