Cypress Resin is an oleoresin exuded from incised trunks of Cupressus sempervirens L., an evergreen conifer of Cupressaceae native to the Eastern Mediterranean. Major producing areas include Spain, Provence of France, Morocco and Türkiye. The yield of this resin is lower than frankincense and galbanum, resulting in limited commercial supply.
